Privacy policy
This site collects very little, and only what it needs to run the Blueprint tool and answer you. We don't sell it, we don't run ads, and we don't send newsletters.

Who we are
Winans Labs LLC, a Texas company based in Dallas, TX, runs winans.ai. Questions about this policy go to hello@winans.ai.
What we collect
- What you type into the Blueprint tool. Your description of a workflow, your answers to the follow-up question, and the blueprint drafted from them.
- What you send through a form. Your email address, and anything else you choose to give: name, company, website or portfolio link, and your message.
- A scrambled version of your IP address. We run it through a one-way hash before storing it, so we can limit abuse without keeping the address itself. We also save the approximate city and state it maps to (for example, "Plano, TX"), so we know roughly where requests come from.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
- Anonymous visit counts. Vercel Web Analytics tells us which pages get visited, roughly which country visitors come from, and how many people use the Blueprint tool or send a message. It doesn't use cookies or identify you.
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To draft your blueprint and show it to you.
- To email you the spec sheet when you ask for it.
- To reply when you contact us, request an evaluation or apply for a role, and to follow up personally about it.
- To see what kinds of problems people bring us, so we can improve the tool and our services.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
We only email you about what you asked for. After you request a blueprint or contact us, someone from Winans Labs may follow up with you personally about it. There is no mailing list or newsletter. If you'd rather not hear from us, reply and say so and we won't contact you again.
AI processing
The Blueprint tool sends what you type to Anthropic's Claude models to read your description and draft the blueprint. Anthropic processes it under its commercial API terms on our behalf. Please leave out names, account numbers, health details and other private information. The tool doesn't need them.
Who processes it for us
We use a small set of service providers. Each one handles data only to provide its service to us:
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Anthropic runs the AI models behind the Blueprint tool.
- Supabase stores form submissions and tool runs.
- Resend sends the blueprint emails and our lead notifications.
- Google provides our business email and serves the site's fonts.
- Cloudflare may run a bot check on the Blueprint tool.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and tool runs while they're useful for following up with you and improving the tool, and delete them when they no longer are. Rate-limit records are cleared within a few days. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
Email hello@winans.ai to see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll confirm the request and respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with providers that encrypt it at rest, and readable only by our server and the people who run Winans Labs. No system is perfectly secure, which is one more reason to leave private details out of the tool.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. See also our terms of use.
